Aetherius this whole album, especially solid ties, are some of my all time favorite jams. the way solid ties in particular evolves from a cheery, peppy first verse and into an ominous, moody, hypnotic, frantically manic pace of instrumentals in the second half just resonates with me like nothing else <3 Favorite track: Solid Ties.
Ronge

Our Time 03:53
They saw you for what you were A thief in disguise no more I rode into the blur You try to stay in your bed But everyone’s in their head Our time is the night time Waiting for no one Deep in the cold we stay No money there either way When will be the day The sun is still rolling round And no one there hears a sound Our time is the night time Waiting for no one Where’s my certainty The fire that’s within me It’s all I’ll look back upon Before we’re dead Oh I feel it in my bones Can’t make it on my own The fear within Comes through again Our time is the night time Waiting for no one
2.
Away Message 03:00
Back in a younger day Steadfast naivety I heard a sound from you A light lit up the room It’d be a lie to say I wouldn’t wait all day Oh This is something new This is feeling….. Let’s try to get to know each other in a new and exciting way I’ll be back when dinner’s over If I still will see your name You’re with me on my way All day and all the night Too much of a good thing We realize such is life It’d be a lie to say That I would wait today This is nothing new Are we feeling? Let’s try to get to know each other in a new and exciting way I’ll be back when dinner’s over If I still will know your name Let’s try to get to know each other
3.
Diabolik 03:40
Time can put you in the dark, you refuse to see Charlie takes you to the mark, it’s not where you want to be I feel it too I’ve had enough of it Try to tiptoe Round the fire It’s on You are now the enemy Walking on my own Come home Find you On the Bathroom floor You won’t ever see the light You said everything’s alright I feel it too I’ve had enough of it Try to tiptoe Round the fire It’s on You are now the enemy Walking on my own again Something says you’re dead to me Walking on my own
4.
Immaculate 03:29
Is it really in our hands? Bring it back where it began Words like laser beams that cut you to your core We’ve all seen our better days The human age is never tamed I can feel the wind blowing down Do you feel the same? Who is there to blame? Do you feel the same? The one thing free from decay This moment…. One move forward two steps back The whole and part share epitaph One by one our bits are broken down and down If you feel your days before ya I can feel the wind blowing down Do you feel the same? Who is there to blame? Do you feel the same? The one thing free from decay This moment…. Who is there to blame? Do you feel the same? Who is there to blame? Do you feel the same?

Solid Ties 05:11
Who's to say we’re gonna stay in touch It doesn’t mean much Maybe to you The city is so fitting all your friends They’re barely hanging on Hanging by a thread List of things to do Is how I view Keeping with the times Set the scene aside Who would stick around? Beer buddies never die Everyone tries On city time All that I want True solid ties

Miss You 03:10
You left me on that day, with everything to say I wish I would have said something before Came for you that night, something wasn’t right I met someone you said you could adore I know that I will miss I know that we will get through I wish that you could be here now and now and now and now Fly close to the sun, what can be undone Could you do it if you knew the end My head is filled with fear, but nothing is so clear I must say farewell to you my friend A human life The edge of the knife We learn, we learn I know that I will miss you I know that I will get through I wish that you could be here now and now and now and now A human life The edge of the knife We learn, we learn I know that I will miss I know that we will get through I wish that you could be here now and now and now and now
8.
People come people go Where their true self lies no one knows With every breath I’ll be there too So tell me how You think this ends We kill our time And follow trends I hope we all look cool in our tomb All we know All the lies the lies Are all we have All I want is to stay inside But someone cares So I might try To face that fact and to give some of it back People come people go Where their true self lies no one knows With every breath I’ll be there too All we know All the lies the lies Are all we have Floating by unconsciously Shedding all antipathy Seeing all the loss you miss the growth All we know All the lies the lies Are all we have
9.
I’m in the sun whenever I’m around you Things are all the same; you were something so new Every single day I’m walking away We are watching the dead We are watching the dead You seem to see everything you need in me Only we can be another thing and we are free We are watching the dead We are watching the dead It’s what you know That takes its toll The peoples’ gaze They’re all the same
10.
Say what you want to Can’t take it anymore That’s for sure Let me Slide some space in Separate the sides You and I Sometimes It’s no insult It’s an existential cry Oh I tried If I Won’t go the distance Who’ll go the speed
